World Travel & Tourism Council

The World Travel & Tourism Council is an international forum for the travel and tourism industry. It is made up of international members and works to raise awareness of travel and tourism on an international scale. In the midst of this global pandemic, the WTTC together with its members, governments, health officials and other industry associations have put together effective recovery protocols for the tourism sector. These protocols ensure that the private sector have common, internationally recognized standards to ensure the safety of its workforce and the international travellers as countries reopen their borders. Companies and destinations who implement and adhere to these protocols are eligible to use the Global Safety Stamp, which is the internationally recognized standard for safe travel.
